[About Me and my Work]
Let me tell you a bit about myself.
My love of seed beads came at an early age, when I saw some of the Native American work at a friend's house. Beautiful tapistry like pictures made from tiny beads woven into a fabric with fine thread. I knew right then I just had to learn how to do this stuff.
So I set about teaching myself the art of seed beading. It took me years to learn to do more than simple daisy chains, but then I broke down and bought some instruction books. I hope you enjoy looking at my work as much as I enjoy makeing it for you. Maybe you will even find a piece that you just have to have. You will find my prices reasonable. I keep my prices low by not dealing with paypal, and online order carts and credit cards. They are a great convience, but for a small operation that is just supposed to support my addiction to beading, it costs more than I usually sell in a month. So to keep it affordable for everyone, I sell the old fashioned way!
I live on a small farm in NY, have one grown daughter and my love of nature and animals is deep. My door is always open to strays and orphans, though I prefer those with 4 legs, or feathers to those with 2 legs.
The Story Behind Seed Bead Happy
After learning to bead I began to become obssesed with those tiny little blobs of colorful glass. So, I decided to sell some of my work to help pay for my obsession.
I've sold at craft shows, and to friends. But this is my first experience with selling online. I don't know if it will go anywhere or not, but I'm willing to give it a shot. Be gentle with me, all orders will be processed as fast as is humanly possible and any questions will be handled in the same manner.
